Evansville's Promise Neighborhood is an initiative inspired by the national Promise Neighborhoods model, which focuses on improving educational, health, and social outcomes in high-poverty communities. The Promise Neighborhood's support services's in education, health, and economic stability help to ensure a safe and prospering community.

Volunteerism is a powerful tool in addressing the needs of Evansville’s Promise Neighborhood. By fostering collaboration, creativity, and hands-on involvement, volunteers can contribute to tangible improvements in environmental sustainability, public health, and overall community well-being. These efforts not only support the neighborhood's goals of academic success but also create a stronger, more resilient community for future generations.
